With a background in fashion and scenography from the Rietveld academie, my journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. After showcasing my work in the fashion capitals of the world, from Paris to London and New York, the fan evolved into my personal trademark. It transcended the boundaries of being a mere object, finding its place in theaters, serving as a versatile folding screen, and emerging as standalone works of art. The mechanism of the folding fan became my expertise and guiding inspiration.

All along, my goal has been to transform the Asian fan into a must-have fashion accessory. And as I observed the rising trend of fans gracing festivals, it struck me with inspiration.

This led to the creation of the FANTULUS™ Fan, a visionary concept that not only combines accessibility and user-friendliness, but is a prototype ready to take the world of fans into a fresh, contemporary realm!
